Buddy ISO

I'm officially losing my 3rd work buddy today, too much losses to bear in one quarter. The rate of losing is faster then the rate I gain. But I'm happy for him, after months of searching he has finally found something he likes and something that is better. He was bubbly happy so joyful as if there could be another him bursting from inside. The first way of dealing with the loss is by opening a communication with my buddy the fourth, who is my new rising star buddy.

M = me, > buddy the fourth

M: I'm losing buddies .. 3rd one this quarter.
>: That's tough. Do I need to step up more ?

M: You bet. I need more for backup
>: * hurt *

M: It's called buddy provisioning ...
>: Fine as long I'm ranked #1

M: So do you have more buddies you can refer to me?
>: Let me look into it. Let me know what you're looking for ... fun loving, love bears, technie, not good at foosball. We need a buddy description to post.

M: I want good looking ones.
>: .. buddy or boyfriend ..

M: Too much a request?
>: It's the lab .. it may take long to find

M: [I'll be patient, but are you saying you're ugly?]
I have this Buddy ISO
>: What Buddy ISO??

M: Buddy ISO Standard
>: Hilarious. You should blog about your Buddy ISO.
I'm losing buddies too. I think I'm gonna outsource from India.

M: [Isn't that a bad practice?]

Good Looks

The winter weather condition really gives commuters a challenge on the road, plus a longer commuting time to work. Despite all that, I'm surprised that I am actually benefiting from the extra quality time I spend in the car chatting with dad who drives me to work every day.

Thanks to the snow and the slow traffic which got me to know more of my dad, learnt how popular he claimed to be when he was young. Not sure how much mom knows about it, but I was half smiling while listening, because it was so much bragging. I take most of his words, not he is my dad, but obviously the genes run in the family and I have half of that! :) From the old photos I remembered, he was really one attractive man in his twenties.

In reality, world is cruel. So I did not really inherit the good look gene from dad. My aunts and grandma were beautiful. Certainly there is a capacity of pity about missing that gene. It is alright, I was in Math and work in tech, full blown good looks would just over kill. Having just right is appropriate .. perfect.

Speaking of good looks, don't you find good looking couples make ugly babies, and ugly couples make great looking ones? Is that fair, when fairness works out in the second round instead of the first? I am not sure how the bio magic works either, but by patterning my observation seems pretty far right.
